Brilliant episode. So grateful you just let Laurie Garret speak for the hour. Love TWIV. Thank you for all you do.

  2. I thank her for bringing up the holocaust that is the meat industry, in any form. People are the problem. We do not need meat to sustain life or health and so as moral beings we are obligated to end this holocaust for the benefit of our victims, those terrified nonhuman animals, and ourselves because we will reduce the risk of zoonotic disease transmission. No one has the right to kill another to satisfy a mere desire and that includes the Chinese.

  3. Most powerful episode I have heard since March 2020. I think she pushed your idealized political viewpoints to the uncomfortable level, concerning China. It was enlightening.

She is outstanding! I am thankful you gave her the time to speak passionately uninterrupted. We (including yourselves) were all listening

Wow great. To me the experience is like an inspiring docmentary movie. All our senators, members of Congress, and White House should see and hear this. ONE PICKY suggestion ——— it was noticeable that Laurie’s sound transmission equipment was not nearly as good as the regular TWIV partisipants and also other guests normally use. Outgoing sound should be separated from incomming sound. Specifally, that means some kind of ear buds, hearphones or headset. Microphone close to mouth is helpful. Doesn’t have to be expenseive. A good one is Sennheiser model SC60 USB-ML. (It looks like some of the regular TWIV participants have very fancy microphones, w, great quality results, but the overkill isn’t really necessary.
