I found what seems to be an awesome video with lots of good basic information and links about Covid-19, ideal for someone like me who is not a bio scientist but trying to sort it all out and keep it all straight. It’s from a cool youtube channel called Thought Emporium which has lots of fascinating videos. this one is at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s_usIkrVQwE , and titled How Does COVID-19 Testing Actually Work? , but has information about the virus too.

Since I’m hardly an expert I can’t vouch for the accuracy of it all, but it does look very good to me.

Selling Snake Oil these days looks like a real money maker.
Bleach sales have gone up. One to wash down the kitchen and bathroom and any place a person might touch. Carrying a small spray bottle of bleach is far cheaper then 80% hand sanitizer.
Health stores are selling their goods by selling special tablets to fight off this virus. Guess the side effect is that you get sick and not died from the virus these tablets work.
President Trump makes a prime example as a guinea pig. He is all smiles and feels great the next day by taking an experimental created drug..
There is a sign of relief from the doctors who gave him the drug (chemicals) that he awoke up the next morning feeling great.
There could be the other side effect, that Nancy Pelosi become the VP.
Maybe Nancy will be VP when Biden is elected POTUS.
    There is always hope.

The US military has been investing in equipment that will test for any biologically warfare organisms. Both natural occurring organism and those that have been alter to make them more lethal. This new virus has caught everyone off guard.
It caught every army medical division from ever nation off guard.
Civilians may not take this virus seriously, the military takes it very seriously.
One course that every person in the military takes is biologically warfare defense. The standard issue is a military mask, now general purpose masks are issue. On base everyone is wearing a mask.
    Or else.

I have just listened to TwiV 670 (another of your excellent TWiVs) and felt I should write in for the first time to amend a comment made by Rich Condit about this year’s Nobel prize for Chemistry. I think I heard him say that this was the first time that prize had been approinted exclusivery to women. it may indeed have been the first time it was awarded exclusively to two women but I think his comment fails to do justice to the amazing scientist Marie Curie who not only received the prize for Chemistry in 1911 but together with her husband had previously in 1903 received a share in the 1903 Physics prize making the first person and until Fred Sanger to receive two science nobel prizes.
