This interview was absolutely inspiring. I enjoyed it very much. Please pass along to Roland Rueckert a very heart felt hello and I am proud to be associated with you through family. Lorna Bellin from Casco Wisconsin

Very nice and interesting to listen to such a great scientist and person, I was a student at Madison from 1974 to 1978 and had virology classes by him.

Hearing gems like this conversation with Dr. Rueckert (#529) is what makes this series of podcasts such a treasure. I can’t think of any more powerful inspiration, for the next generation, then to hear the pure joy for life-long learning that emanating from such a modest, accomplished scientist.

As always, thanks for making all of this possible.

P.S. Nine Celcius and a cloudless sunny day in Los Angeles, with a hint of winter in the air 🙂
