  1. You need to visit the Other Down Under sometime: sub-Saharan Africa! But Australia – and Australian virology – is wonderful.

    • Would love to visit the other Down Under. Working on raising money so TWiV can travel anywhere. And I loved Australia and Australians.

    I’m so very, very sorry to report this about the Malaysian flight MH17:

    “Also among the passengers were medical experts travelling to Melbourne for the International Aids Conference that was to officially begin tomorrow. At least 100 passengers on board MH17 were bound for the conference, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.”
