If someone studies the gut virome of AIDS patients, I wish they would find a way to sprinkle in a few Chronic Fatigue Synndrome patients also. I have suffered greatly from CFS for 30 years, and feel intuitively that this is a clue to my illness. Thanks for the great shows.

Todd, there are ongoing experiments to study the virome, as well as the gut microbiome, of CFS patients. I share your notion that the illness could involve imbalances in these ‘omes’. The results should be published within the next year.
