    Great show, sorry I couldn’t be there.

    One minor clarification: when I’ve mentioned that there’s no time for fact-checking, it’s always been in reference to other people’s work, not mine. I write for publications that always give me plenty of time for verification. The reporters who have to churn out a dozen stories a week, often on hour-to-hour deadlines, are the ones who don’t always have time to fact-check. That’s where we get the “story of the day” problems Trine talks about.
