Vincent, why not our Virus Pathogen Resource, http://www.viprbrc.org ? I’ve been developing bioinformatics tools for them for seven years now. You could probably get Richard Scheuermann on the program. May I recommend someone more applied, like this, than a “pure play computational theoretician”. The real problems are in relating molecular genetics and top level phenotype in the host. We’re doing that right now. It exists.
