Great pod cast. As a microbiology teacher I see lots of good information and a lot of it wrapped in very good stories (very nice for teaching).

how different is the third edition from the second? Because I will be taking a virology course next year that has the third edition as a required text, but I already own a copy of the second edition. Do you think I would be able to get by with the 2nd? Or is there a large amount of new information in the third that I won't have access to in the second.
