Vincent Racaniello, Ph.D. (@profvrr) is Higgins Professor of Microbiology & Immunology at Columbia University Medical Center. He has been studying viruses for over 40 years. Dickson D. Despommier, Ph.D. (TWiV, TWiP, Urban Agriculture), a microbiologist and ecologist, is the Professor Emeritus of Public Health in Environmental Health Sciences and Microbiology at Columbia University Medical Center. For 27 years, he has conducted laboratory-based research on molecular aspects of intracellular parasitism.
